This section explains the term "FBX" as used in VRoid Studio's dress-up feature.
FBX
One of the 3D file formats.
It is often used to contain data for VRChat avatars, costumes, and accessories.
FBX files can hold a range of data, including meshes, bones, and materials. However, additional setup is required to configure them specifically for VRChat.
For this reason, VRChat avatars, costumes, and accessories are often provided in a pre-configured unitypackage format.
In the dress-up feature, you can use Prefabs set up for VRChat by converting them to XAvatar or XWear formats, allowing them to function as avatars, costumes, or accessories.
