This section explains the term "custom item" as used in VRoid Studio's dress-up feature.
Custom item
A type of VRoid data.
You can save outfits, face parts, hairstyles, and bodies (limited to skin textures) that you've customized using parameters or texture editing as Custom Items.
Custom items can contain...
- Eye textures and parameters
- Face paint textures
- Hair mesh, textures, and bone settings
- Clothing textures and parameters
- Accessory textures and parameters
Each component's data can be saved in VRoid Studio and exported as a .vroidcustomitem file, which can then be imported into other .vroid files.
*Accessories can only be imported and exported as .vroidcustomitem files starting from version 2.10.0.
Outfits and accessories can't be used with the dress-up feature as-is, but you can export them as XWear through the VRoid editor to make them compatible.
