This section explains the term "custom item" as used in VRoid Studio's dress-up feature.
Custom item
A type of VRoid data.
It refers to individual component data within an avatar created in VRoid Studio, such as facial parts, hairstyles, and clothing.
Custom items cannot be used directly within the dress-up feature.
Custom items can contain...
- Eye textures and parameters
- Face paint textures
- Hair mesh, textures, and bone settings
- Clothing textures and parameters
Each component's data can be saved and exported as a .vroidcustomitem file, which can then be imported into other .vroid files.
*Currently, only items in the accessory category cannot be saved or exported as .vroidcustomitem.
Clothing and accessories can be exported as XWear through the VRoid editor for use with the dress-up feature.
