In this article, we will show how to adjust the colors of a texture by using the gradation map function, available on most painting software (Photoshop, Clip Studio, Affinity Photo etc.).
In this tutorial, we're using Photoshop.
You can turn black pants into white pants by simply adjusting their texture color.
① Export the pants texture and import it into another painting software (in this tutorial, we are using Photoshop).
② Create masks for the bants, belt and belt buckle (this process is called "ID Mapping").
③ Create a selection starting from the pants mask and apply a Gradation Mapping adjustment layer to edit the colors.
④ Once you're done, import the texture again into VRoid Studio.
⑤ If the shadows don't match the texture color, fix them and complete your white pants.
