Backups
Backing up your VRoid Studio data
The model data you create in VRoid Studio is not backed up automatically.
We recommend that you manually back up the above storage folder to secure your data from an accidental loss.
Make sure you back up your data in a different location on your HDD, an external storage device (such as a USB), or use a cloud service.
Restoring data
If your model data gets lost or damaged, place the backed-up data in the above save folder to keep editing your file on VRoid Studio.
Files with the same name that are saved in the same directory will be overwritten, so be careful to choose a different name.
Transferring data to another PC or iPad
If you have never launched VRoid Studio on your new computer or iPad, the default save folder hasn't been generated yet.
Download VRoid Studio and launch it once before restoring your data.
Place the backed-up data in the above save folder on your new computer or iPad to keep editing your files on VRoid Studio.
