In the Photo Booth, you can adjust the Expression parameters to apply facial expressions set in the Expression Editor within the Model Editor before taking a shot.
If your character’s expression looks off in the Photo Booth (e.g. parts moving unexpectedly or expressions not displaying as intended), please check the corresponding parameters in the Expression Editor.
For example, if adjusting the eye-closing parameter also moves the mouth, the eye’s CLOSE setting in the Expression Editor may have mouth-related parameters assigned by mistake.
We recommend using the following parameters for each expression setting.
Expression | Recommended parameters |
NEUTRAL (Neutral) FUN (Smiling) SORROW (Sad) ANGRY (Angry) JOY (Happy) |
Any parameters |
CLOSE (Eye close) CLOSE_R (Right eye close) CLOSE_L (Left eye close) |
Only eye-related parameters |
A (ah) I (Ee) U (Oo) E (Eh) O (Oh) |
Only mouth-related parameters |
Adjusting the Eye Close parameter in the Photo Booth may cause blinking animations to malfunction.
If you want to take a photo with closed eyes, go to Expression > Eye Movement and uncheck “Blink”.
*This only affects the Photo Booth and will not impact exported models.
