This article explains how to create data compatible with VRoid Studio's dress-up feature.
The dress-up feature supports the following data formats.
- Dress-up feature formats (XAvatar, XWear, XRoid)
- VRoid data format (.vroid)
- Standard file format (VRM)
XAvatar and XWear are two data formats optimized for use with the dress-up feature.
XAvatar
This format is used as the base avatar data in the dress-up feature.
It can include multiple sets of costume data and is also used when importing models
to VCC for uploading to VRChat.
XWear
This format is used for costumes and accessories in the dress-up feature.
You can choose which bone each XWear accessory should follow directly
within the dress-up feature.
