This article explains how to use VRoid Studio's dress-up feature to dress a VRChat model in costumes and accessories created in VRoid Studio.

- VRChat SDK Version: Avatars 3.7.1 and later
- XWear Package

If you already have the avatar data in XAvatar format, skip this step.
Follow the guide below to import avatar data (unitypackage) into VCC, then use XWear Package to convert it to XAvatar format.

2. Convert your VRStudio costume for the dress-up feature
Follow the guide below to convert VRoid Studio data (.vroid or .vroidcustomitem) into XWear format using the VRoid editor.
How to convert costumes and accessories made in VRoid Studio to XWear
Only items in the “Clothing” and “Accessory” categories can be exported as XWear.
3. Launch VRoid Studio
Start VRoid Studio.
Click on the dress-up feature tab and select "Get started with the Dress-Up feature" or "Create New".
4. Import an avatar
Click "Add Base Model" to open a file dialog. Import the XAvatar file you converted earlier.
5. Import a costume
Click "Add Costume" to open a file dialog.
Import the XWear file you converted earlier.
