A: No, VRM 0.x export is not supported.
The export feature for the dress-up feature uses VRM 1.0 to replicate the expressions used in data intended for VRChat as closely as possible in VRM.
Here are some key features newly introduced in VRM 1.0.
- Capsule collider (Capsule was added as a Collider Type for SpringBone)
- Fine-tuning of SpringBone movements for each joint (introduced in VRM 1.0’s SpringBoneJoint)
- MatCap masking (introduced in MToon10, a VRM 1.0-compatible shader)
That said, VRM 0.x is still supported for importing models into the dress-up feature and exporting models edited in VRoid.
