VRoid Studio uses two different file formats.
-
.vroid files
This is a file format unique to VRoid Studio, which allows you to load and edit 3D model data for use in VRoid Studio.
When you start to create a model in VRoid Studio, it is generated as a .vroid file.
-
VRM files
This is a data format for 3D model data.
This file format allows you to convert models saved as .vroid files in VRoid Studio so that you can export them and upload them to VRoid Hub.
However, you cannot upload VRM files to edit them in VRoid Studio.
Models can be downloaded from VRoid Hub as VRM files, so they cannot be edited in VRoid Studio.
Thank you for your understanding.
