If you are using version 1.14.1 or earlier of VRoid Mobile, you may not be able to properly save photos you have taken when updating to iOS 14.
If you select "Select Photos..." the first time a dialog box like the one above is displayed, the following issues may occur.
- The photos cannot be saved.
- The message "Downloaded successfully" is displayed, but the photo is not actually saved.
- The above dialog box appears every time you try to save a photo.
Known remedies:
If you are seeing the dialog box above for the first time:
Please select "Allow Access to All Photos".
This way, you will still be able to save the photos you took.
If you have chosen "Select Photos..." or "Don't Allow" at least once:
You need to change the permissions for accessing your VRoid Mobile photos from the Settings app.
From the Settings app, select VRoid.
Select the "Photos" item in your permissions settings and change the permissions for VRoid Mobile photos to "All Photos".
Now you can save the photos you have taken as before.
Note that changing the photo permission to "All photos" will not allow VRoid Mobile to read the information of the photos stored in the camera roll without permission.
