The Closet feature lets you add frequently used files, such as base models, costumes, and accessories, directly from your BOOTH Library.
Adding an item to your Closet saves you the trouble of searching your PC or downloading items from your Library each time, providing quick access to your favorite files even when working on different models.
How to use
- You need a BOOTH account to add files from your BOOTH Library.
- Compatible formats:
- XAvatar files
- XWear files
- .vroid files
- .vroidcustomitem files
- VRM files
- PNG files
- JPEG files
- Zip files
1. How to add files to your Closet
You can either add files from your BOOTH Library or from your PC.
A) Add files from your BOOTH Library
- Log in to BOOTH and open your Library (https://accounts.booth.pm/library).
Open the Closet page and click "Open BOOTH Library".
*You need a BOOTH account to add files from your BOOTH Library.
- Select "Other Downloads" from the item you'd like to add > DL with VRoid Studio.
- If you haven't opened VRoid Studio yet, a dialog window will appear requesting your permission to open the application. Click "Open VRoid Studio" to proceed.
When VRoid Studio launches, the file will automatically download to your Closet.
- Once the item is downloaded, it will be added to your Closet.
B) Add files from your PC
- Click "Open" to open the Closet page.
- Click the "Add from device" or "+" button.
- Click "Select File".
- Select the file you'd like to add from the dialog window.
- Enter the item's information.
Enter a BOOTH URL to auto-fill the item's thumbnail, name, and shop name.
- Add the file to display it in your Closet.
2. How to use files you added
XWear and dress-up feature
You can easily apply files from your Closet to your models from the Editor.
- You can apply XWear files as costumes.
- You can apply XAvatar, VRM, and .vroid files as base models.
- Go to the Editor > Open.
- Click "Add as Costume".
For base model files, click "Add as Base Model".
- The file will be applied to your model.
VRoid Editor
You can easily apply files from your Closet to your models from both the Model Editor and the Texture Editor.
- .vroidcustomitem files can be added to costume categories that support custom items.
- PNG and JPEG files can be added as textures.
Import Custom Items
- In the Custom tab, click Open.
- Click Import on the custom item you want to use.
- The custom item will be imported into the appropriate category.
As with standard imports, you can choose whether to apply it immediately.
Import Texture Images
- Open the Texture Editor, right-click on the layer where you want to import the texture, and click "Import from Closet."
- Click Import on the image you want to use.
- The image will be imported as a texture.
