▼ Method 1 Temporarily block your antivirus software and security software
It's been reported that an antivirus working in the background might cause issues when opening VRoid Studio.
・VRoid Studio downloaded files have disappeared; download files cannot be executed even after downloading the software several times.
・Save files have been disappearing.
Please try the following method.
① Change the security (firewall) settings of your PC

② Remove VRoid Studio from the monitored targets of your antivirus software
· Please refer to the instructions of your PC regarding security settings and antivirus software operation.
· Do not to carelessly change settings or unblock VRoid studio by editing contents in Zip folders with an unknown source.
▼ Method 2 Extract the Zip file before executing it
Since the files for starting VRoid Studio are compressed in a Zip folder, they need to be extracted first. If you attempt to execute the downloaded Zip file without decompressing it, the following error message may be displayed.
The program can't start because UnityPlayer.dll is missing from your computer.
Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.
Please select "すべて展開(X)(Extract all)" instead of "実行(U)(Execute)", and start VRoid Studio.exe from the folder where the files were extracted.
If you still get an error, please open the properties of the downloaded Zip file and unzip it by checking "Allow" for security protection.
· Do not to carelessly unblock VRoid studio by editing contents in Zip folders with an unknown source.
▼ Method 3 (for Microsoft Edge users) Click "Save" before extracting all files.
If you are using the Edge browser, files downloaded by clicking "Open" will be saved in one of Edge's temporary folders. For this reason, you won't be able to start VRoid Studio even after extracting all contents.
If you are using Edge, please click "Save" to download the file and "Extract all".
▼ Method 4 Extract all files on your Desktop.
An error message may appear when extracting all files from a Zip file saved in your PC's Downloads folder.
You can fix the issue by extracting your files on your PC's Desktop.
